The Story of Beatrix
After the pray, August told a story of nun to Lily. The nun named Beatrix escaped from the church, and when she came back to the church to take her duties again after 3 years, she found that The Mary replaced her place for those 3 years. What does August really want to tell Lily from this story?

I think August is hinting that she knows Lily is lying about her whole life story. She doesn't want to tell Lily straight up, because she wants Lily to figure it out on her own that August knows almost everything. She is trying to get Lily to confess through telling stories she knew.
