Lily's Feelings
So obviously, when Lily finds out the truth about her mother, she has the right to be upset. T. Ray was right, her mother did leave them, both of them. Of course she was sad and disappointed and angry at her mom for leaving her, but were some of her feelings towards herself and T. Ray? Was she mad because T. Ray was right and she was wrong? T. Ray did trigger the whole thing, and she basically ran away to prove T. Ray wrong, so many of her feelings must have been directed at that. Do you think she would have still had so much anger if T. Ray wasn't involved?

I think that some of her feelings were towards herself and T. Ray. I think she was angry at herself for being the reason her mom had to marry T. Ray. I think she was angry at T. Ray for being so mean to her and her mother so that her mother left them.
