new life
I think that Lily is doing a lot better in her new environment. I think that she feels a lot more comfortable with somethings and then some other things, like being surrounded by black people, which has never happened before is a lot different for her. I definitely think that Rosaleen feels a little left out. Lily really likes Zach though, he is very kind to her and they respect each other. I really hope that June stops being so selfish and gets married to Neil though, he's definitely feeling kind of neglected.

I'm not sure how far you are in the book but I feel that Lily sometimes feels more left out then Rosaleen. When Rosaleen moves out of the honey building and leaves Lily there alone, Lily feels lonely. Also, Lily seems very comfortable but also very on edge. She's scared to tell the truth to August and she's very afraid someone is going to come for her soon.
ReplyDeleteYeah definitely. I hadn't gotten that far into the book yet when I posted this, but once I read more I saw that she definitely feels more left out in different ways than she was before.
